University of Arkansas Hope -Texarkana Campuses Closed Today July

The University of Arkansas Hope – Texarkana (UAHT) closed their Hope campus at Noon today (July 16, 2019) due to extreme flooding and road closures.

The Texarkana campus will close its campus at 1PM, today (July 16, 2019). This closure is inclusive of all students, faculty, and staff.

According to the National Weather Service, another round of rainfall is approaching around 2PM. Please use this time to make it home or to safety. Use extreme caution when traveling home and do not cross flooded roadways. We recommend that you check road conditions on the IDrive Arkansas App before traveling.

UAHT will resume normal work hours tomorrow (July 17, 2019).
