The City of Marshall is celebrating 30 years with their annual Wonderland of Lights Festival and Parade this Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016.

Started in 1987 Wonderland of Lights has been entertaining families for generations and rivals some of the best light displays in the country. Over a million lights illuminate the historic Harrison County Courthouse as downtown Marshall is transformed into a Winter Wonderland.

The Wonderland of Lights Parade has been set for Saturday beginning at 6PM. Don't miss the Wonderland of Car Show and Christmas Market kicking off the day long activities from 11AM until 4PM.  Then on Sunday, Dec. 11 beginning at 1PM, come watch the Jingle Bell 5K and One Mile Fun Run with participants dressed as elves, reindeer, Santa and other seasonal costumes.

Wonderland of Lights also features an outdoor ice skating rink, carousel and train rides, Santa's Workshop, horse-drawn carriage and live entertainment. So take the short 80 mile drive to Marshall for some holiday fun. Wonderland of Lights runs through Dec. 31.

Wonderland of Lights is a community wide event and wouldn’t be possible without the support of volunteers, sponsors, and donors.
