Have you ever been to a Drive-in Movie Theater before?  Now you have the chance to go to one of the best in the county and it's in Arkansas.

Drive-in Theaters have been getting a lot of love thanks to TiKTok. There have been over 115 million views for #driveinmovie. That's when it caught the eye of nationwidevehiclecontracts.com and they started looking into all the great Drive-in Theaters that are still up and running in the US. They looked at Google reviews, ticket prices, concessions available and if the drive-in theater was dog-friendly.

It's hard to believe but at one point there were over 4,000 drive-in theaters. They were everywhere back in the 1950s and 60s, but they started dying out in the 70s. Lucky for us there was a big surge in their popularity when Covid hit and they are still making a comeback.

Making the Top Ten List is Arkansas' Stone Drive-In Theater in Mountain View

The Stpme Drove-in Theater in Mountain View has been around since 1965 and it came in at number 8 on the list!  According to the study, it had a high score of 94.05 out of 100.

Stone Drive-in plays movies in rain or sunshine and accepts both cash and cards which is a great perk as the majority of drive-ins operate cash only! This drive-in uses FM radio sounds for the movies so cars with a great infotainment system will have a peak drive-in experience.

Their score was also high for the Google reviews 4.6 for customer service and all-around quality of the drive-in theater experience. You can bring your own snacks but they do state on their website that concession sales are the way they keep this theater alive so if you go be sure to buy your concessions if possible to support this drive-in theater.

This one has great reviews too! The Kenda Drive-in Theater is located in Marshall, Arkansas. This is another old drive-in theater that is still alive and kicking since it opened back in 1966. They also have concessions and their ticket prices are great too. You can find out more information at their website.
