Chili Teams – Sign-Up Now To Compete in ICS Chili Cook-off at Scout-O-Rama April 27

Caddo Area Council is very excited to once again bring you the International Chili Society sanctioned Scout-O-Rama Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, April 27 at Spring Lake Park in Texarkana, Texas. By participating in this activity, you are supporting Scouting here in the Ark-La-Tex as well as sending a scout to a regional scouting event.

We are inviting service organizations, local businesses, corporations, schools, etc. to form a chili team and come compete for a great trophy, and if you win, be eligible to compete in the National ICS competition. Feel free to challenge your neighbors, businesses, organizations, or friends, to see who can cook the best chili in the Ark-La-Tex. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place monetary awards given as well as trophies. All participants will receive an award of recognition - something you will want to display.

Any group or individual chili enthusiasts are welcome to compete. We want this event to be fun and successful and seek your support.

You must be a member of the ICS to compete; you can join the ICS for one year for as little as $10. The fee for entering your chili team in the SOR cook-off is only $25.

Don’t want to cook but you still want to help? How about becoming a sponsor? Feel free to support the event any way you can. Monetary contributions/sponsorships are available. Of course, any donation is accepted, but with higher levels comes recognition. There are three levels of recognition sponsorship: Bronze = $250, Silver = $500, and Gold = $1000.
