New Year, New Cert – Forklift Certification Training At UAHT
Starting a new career? Looking for certification so you can start a new career? Heavy Equipment Operators can make good money but where do you get started in that sort of thing? Maybe it's time to get your forklift certification so you can forge a new path in the new year.
Good news if that's what you're thinking because forklift certification training classes will begin very soon at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana.
Classes will run from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM in the Technical & Industrial Building, in room 160 on the UAHT Hope Campus, every third Saturday of the Month except June and July.
Cost?
The class costs $80 per person but is limited to just 15 participants per class, registration is taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
Who's Teaching?
Iry T. Rice, owner of Rice Safety Consultants, instructs the course. The class is compliant with OSHA specifications and provides a three-year certification.

- December 21
If you need or want to drive a forklift, you must know that the Department of Labor requires forklift operators to hold an OSHA forklift certification. Certification can increase workplace safety and productivity and lower costs. Upon successful completion of the course, a forklift operator card and certificate will be awarded to attendees.
