Why do Forklift Operators Need Certification?
If you have been looking to get certified on a forklift the training classes will be held at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana throughout the year.
The Forklift Certification Training Courses will be from 8 AM to 2:30 PM in the Technical & Industrial Building, room 160. The classes will take place on the third Saturday of every month except June and July.
How Much Are These Forklift Certification Classes?
The class fee is $80 per person and is limited to 15 participants at each class and those spaces are only on a first-come, first-served basis. The owner of Rice Safety Consultants, Iry T. Rice, will be instructing the class. This class is compliant with OSHA specifications and provides a three-year certification.
The Forklift Certification Training Course Will Be Available on The Following Dates

Why Do Forklift Operators Need Certification?
According to a press release,
The Department of Labor requires any forklift operator to hold an OSHA forklift certification. Certification can increase workplace safety and productivity and lower costs. After successfully completing the course, a forklift operator card and certificate will be awarded to attendees.
