ROTARY SPLASH PAD SET TO OPEN AT SPRING LAKE PARK IN TEXARKANA, TEXAS

Get ready mom's and dad's, you know the kids want to go so here is the date when the Plash Pad in Spring Lake Park will be officially open for summer fun.

The Texarkana Parks an Recreation Department says that the Rotary Splash Pad in Spring Lake Park will open on May 24.

The Splash Pad will be open each day from 9 AM until 7 PM until the end of October, and some new things have been added this year. The pad now has six additional shade ports and picnic tables, and a brand new non-slip surface was recently added.

In case you haven't been, the Splash Pad is a zero-depth water playground built in collaboration between the Rotary Clubs of Texarkana and the City of Texarkana, Texas Parks, and Recreation Department.

When you get a chance this summer make sure to take the kids to the Splash Pad, just remember when you do, they're gonna wanna go back again and again.
