If you love animals, did you know you can make a difference in dogs and cats lives right here in Texarkana? You can help by making a donation of supplies to the Texarkana Animal Care and Adoption Center's Stock the Shelter Animal Shelter Drive.

If you have a pet or have had a pet in the past you know it's not cheap to take care of them. Between food and other pet supplies, it can get expensive. These animals need our help and it's easy to do.

Items Needed at the Texarkana Animal Shelter

Some of the items they are looking for and need are things like dog and cat treats, food and water bowls, grooming products, dryer sheets, dish soap, pet shampoos for dogs and cats, toys, leashes, cat litter, trash bags, paper towels, laundry soap, blankets, pet beds, large bath towels, meow mix, puppy chow, wet and canned food for both dogs and cats.

You can drop off your donations at both locations of River Valley Tractor in Texarkana at 7478 Hampton Road and in Queen City at 808 Hwy 59 South. You can also drop donations off at Texarkana New Holland at 7340 Hampton Road in Texarkana. Donations are accepted now through Friday, December 22.
