We've seen some restaurants close during the pandemic, but now as we come out of it we are starting to see new restaurants open. One thing for sure is Texarkana loves to check out new places to eat.

Where is Bokkeum Located?

Opening soon it's Bokkeum Haibachi Rice and Noodle at 3317 Richmond Road in Texarkana, Texas. I stopped by yesterday and talked with one of the owners Kim, she said they are working hard to try and open sometime next week. From what I could tell looking around it looks like it's almost ready.

When Will They Open?

On their Facebook page Chef Seung said they were trying to open the first week of March but they like many other have run into supply chain delays, but it will open soon.

However, we strongly believe that small businesses are the backbone of this country and we believe we can bring happiness to our town with food. We are working effortlessly to get everything ready at the moment.

They will be making Haibachi Rice and Noodle dishes that you can eat inside the restaurant. The dishes are also available to-go and they will have a drive-thru too.

The owners have a good history in Texarkana as they used to own the NY China House on West 7th Street. So best of luck to them with the launch of their new restaurant!

Their Menu Looks Tasty.
