Texas Renaissance Festival Opens With The Queen’s Birthday Celebration
M'Lords and M'Ladies, one of the greatest spectacles in the Great State of Texas is back for its 49th season, this weekend marks the opening of the Texas Renaissance Festival.
The Texas Renaissance Festival begins its 49th season with the Queen's Birthday Celebration along with special discounts for this opening weekend. I had to look it up to be sure but it is the nation's largest Renaissance-themed event, and it opens this weekend, October 7-8, with the Queen's Birthday celebration, lowest prices of the season and free admission for kids.

Tickets for the festival, which takes place over the next eight weekends from October 7 through November 26, are available for online purchase.
Over the next eight weekends, more than half a million visitors will HUZZAH their way to the Texas Renaissance Festival to enjoy this feast for the eyes and ears filled with food, music, fun, and Renaissance magic.
The Queen's Birthday Weekend Includes:
Birthday Celebrations on both Saturday and Sunday with parties, cake, live entertainment, dancing, scavenger hunts, fireworks, prizes, raffles, and special deals on games and rides all weekend.
Vendor Specials:
Vendors will offer discounted specialty drinks, food items, apparel, and collectable swag in honor of Her Royal Highness. Plus, TRF's famous turkey legs will be half-price, while supplies last.

21 stages, immersive experiences, jugglers, bards, acrobats, restaurants, pub crawls, and more than 400 shoppes and artisans spread across the festival's 55-acre Renaissance village.

Ticket prices range from $10 - $34 depending on the weekend. Look for discounts, they are out there.
Where Do You Stay?
There are more than 200 acres of camping facilities that offer great value for patrons and families who spend the weekend There are Stay and Play packages which include both a camping pass for Thursday through Monday and festival admission for Saturday and Sunday.
Space is limited, advance ticket purchases are highly encouraged. The Texas Renaissance Festival has established daily capacity limits to ensure every patron experiences the festival at its best.
