Genoa Central High Graduates Awarded Honors Scholarships to UAHT

A Big Congratulations to two Genoa Central High graduates for being awarded Honors Scholarships by the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana.

Lea Dawn Kelly

Lea Dawn Kelly was awarded the Honors Scholarship to attend UAHT.

The Scholarship she was awarded is for $2,400 per academic year. Kelly, a graduate of Genoa Central High School, is the daughter of Lucas and Angela Kelly. Lea plans on receiving a degree in business at UAHT.

Nora Johnson

The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana also was proud to announce that Nora Johnson was awarded the Honors Scholarship to attend the college.

Nora will receive $2,400 per academic year. She is a graduate of Genoa Central High School and will be pursuing an Associate of Arts degree in General Education.

Congratulations to both these young women and best wishes for their future.
