
Want a Concealed Handgun Carry License? Here’s Where to Get Yours
If you've been thinking about getting a concealed handgun carry license, whether you are a beginner or looking for more training you definitely need to check this out. The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana will host basic and enhanced concealed handgun carry classes.
When Will These Classes Take Place?
The classes all take place on the UA Hope campus this fall. The Basic Concealed Carry course is coming soon and will take place on Saturday, October 8, from 8 Am to 3 PM.
The Enhanced Concealed Carry class will be on Saturday, November 5, from 8 AM to 3 PM.
What's the difference between the classes? According to a press release;
The enhanced concealed carry license provides gun owners with the additional training needed to carry their weapons into some public buildings where weapons are currently prohibited.
What is the Cost of The Basic and Enhanced Concealed Carry Classes?
Both of these classes will start in a classroom setting at Hempstead Hall on the UA Hope campus and then move to the local shooting range in Hope, Arkansas. Chuck Key will be instructing the classes. The cost for the basic class is $100, and the enhanced class is $150.
Requirements To take these Concealed Handgun Carry License Courses
- You must be 21 years of age or older
- You must have a valid driver’s license
- You must provide your own personal handgun and ammunition
- You must have transportation to the shooting range.
