Western Author Dusty Richards Dies From Auto Accident Injuries

Lisa and I received a call from local Author Tammy Thompson the other day with the sad news that Western Author Dusty Richardson had passed away in January due to injuries received in an auto accident back in December. His wife Pat passed just a week before he did also from that same accident as I understand it. Very sad to report.

We had the chance to interview Dusty last year when he came to town to be the keynote speaker at the Fall Gathering of Authors. Tammy brought him to the studio and we spent a few minutes talking about the event and the many years and many books he had written. Dusty also told us about one of his books that's been made into a movie, it's called "Painted Woman" and the official trailer is below.
