This event will run from 8:30 AM to 3:15 PM on Thursday, February 13 at the Four States Fairgrounds and hosted by the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. Experts from both groups will be leading workshops throughout the day.

Jennifer Caraway, an agent with the Division of Agriculture’s Miller County extension office stated in a press release,

This has been a collaborative event that has been growing for several years. We’ll be offering a variety of educational sessions to help our growers and producers learn best practices for their operations. It’s also a great time to network with others in the agriculture industry.

Organizers are expecting close to 350 people to attend. Caraway also said she reached out to several Arkansas extension agents from several counties in Arkansas in planning the expo including Lafayette, Little River, Miller, Sevier, Polk, Howard, and Hempstead. Agents from Texas counties Bowie, Morris, Cass, and Red River counties in Texas also helped in the planning of the expo.

The Four States Ag Expo is Free to The Public

The event is free and open to the public. There will be a free hamburger lunch served.  Texas Restricted Use Applicators can also earn up to five continuing education units (CEUs) at the expo.

The Four States Fairgrounds is located at 3700 E. 50th St. in Texarkana, Arkansas.
