Mario’s Weekend Movie Roundup For July 20
It's going to be a hot summer weekend with temperatures expected to climb well over 100 degrees. What better time to head to the movies and try and stay cool. There are three new movies to choose from this weekend but the one I want to see is "The Equalizer 2" starring Denzel Washington.
Denzel Washington returns as former CIA operative Robert McCall who is now working as a Lyft driver in this action sequel. McCall helps people who have been done wrong by their attackers and gets some personal redemption for a friend CIA handler Susan played by Mellissa Leo who gets murdered in the new movie.
An all-star cast returns for the follow up to Mama Mia, in this sequel, a pregnant Amanda Seyfried decides to relaunch her mother's inn a year after her passing. Her three dads show up and all tell the story of how they all met her mother Donna. Expect when watching this movie there will be lots of flashbacks from the past to the present.
Finding a laptop turns deadly when a man goes online to play a game with five of his best friends. After showing his friends a mysterious folder that plays disturbing videos of people who appear to be in trouble, they then receive an anonymous message that they will all die, if they go offline or call the police.
