When a young nun in a Romania abbey commits suicide, a priest and a novitiate on her final vows are sent to investigate the case at the Vatican. What they discover is an unholy secret that threatens not only their lives but their faith and souls. The two have to fight off demonic forces in the form of an evil nun.
After surviving a brutal attack that killed her husband, Riley North (Jennifer Garner) awakens from a coma only to learn that the murderers are protected from the justice system. Bent on revenge she takes matters into own hands and spends years in hiding to transforms herself and her body into an elite fighting machine. In her quest for redemption she eludes the police, the FBI and the underworld to evoke her own brand of punishment on the perpetrators to finally get her justice.
Sometimes life is not fair and in this Christian based movie, the very fabric of a person's faith is tested by trials and tribulations. After losing her husband in the war in Afghanistan Amber tries to adapt two years later to a new way of life with her 9-year-old daughter when she meets a race car driver named Cody Jackson. The two seem to hit it off and llife takes off into the fast lane but eventually she's forced to decide between the broken road she seems to be heading down or coming to terms with her faith and trust in God for a new path.
